I listened to this as part of A Witch’s Path Box Set. It is also available as a single title as well. Both ebook counterparts are available through the Kindle Unlimited program.
This picks up pretty much where the last one ended. There is a little bit of catch-up at the beginning, but sadly no mention if Cales ever became a troll snack or not. Oh well, at least the jerk never came back around.
The death threats are getting more frequent, and her Mom is still refusing to divulge any information. This one is mostly non stop action and lots of frustration over the difficult people in life. The werewolf and suicide issues set-up in book one get tackled, but I wouldn’t say resolved.
There is a bombshell dropped toward the end that will definitely be a big part of book three. If you have been keeping track of details as you listen or read, it shouldn’t be a total surprise. You will get some answers, but also more questions. I’m am anxious to see how this all plays out in the next one.
