First Impression: I liked it. Nina is growing on me. She is becoming funny instead of annoying. I really loathed her up until this book. This series really needs to be read from the beginning for the full experience because it just gets more and more crazy with each book. I mean this in the best way, but I did need to relisten to some chapters to get it all straight and I have listened to the previous books.

First in her new series. A lot take in but also lots of promise. Have to relisten to get all the details down. Many story lines set in motion as well as a note from the author about this new series. I’m glad the non-shifting brothers grab the author’s heart as much as they did mine and I hope they finally get to shift and mates of their own in future installments. Looking forward to more of this series.

I liked the story and the characters. It’s defiantly different. I would wonder about the long term of their species though. The cover on the audible edition I purchased is very sexy, but a bit misleading once you listen to the story. This really didn’t effect the story overall, it was more of a speed bump.
