Evan Sinclair is the last sibling to take a mate. He has always taken care of his younger siblings, or at least tried to. His path has been more difficult than you might think. There is a sad reason why he is so uptight. His father quite literally beat it into him that he was a disabled disappointment. My heart wept for him.

This story is a take on the you’ve got mail theme and starts back at the beginning. The email correspondence starts during the events of book 0.05 when Randi sends an email to the Sinclair Foundation in case Emily isn’t successful in her request for Grady to help save Christmas. Of course Evan is the one to respond to that initial email, and not politely either. Randi’s response is priceless and really sets the whole tone. It lets you know that Evan is in for a ride, and that it’s going to be good!

Miranda “Randi” Tyler has been with us from the beginning. Best friend to Emily, as well as fast friends to the other females in town. She is a teacher by trade, like her parents, but also tutors children at the community center. Her backstory is just as sad as Evan’s. These trust issues make her have some stupid moments, but luckily they don’t last long.

Even though the main siblings are taken care of, the series is not over. Up to this point you should be acquainted with the cousins. They have visited and have been talked about. Micah, Julian, and Xander are the next bachelors up for Beatrice to match with their mates. So don’t fret yourself friends. There is lots more Sinclair goodness to come!

Up to this point Jared has been Moody and Broody! I had mixed feelings going into this story. On one hand he has been a d*ck and not yet redeemed himself for a HEA. On the other hand, I want to know what crawled up his bum and died because there has to be a story there. I was sure it was the after effects of his horrid father, but it turns out there is so much more!

Mara Ross is suffering from financial woes! Dolls are in her blood but not exactly profitable these days. The town doll shop has been in the family for generations as well as the apartment above it. Needed repairs have not been made in a long while and when she tries to get the landlord to finally fix it, she is informed that the plans are for destruction rather than updates. She doesn’t have any family left to turn to, so she ends up accepting help from an unlikely source.

Jared Sinclair is number four in the Sinclair line. This makes him the the youngest brother, but still older than Hope. His story starts off rather dark, as he apparently has some guilt issues that are being remedied with booze. Now five years later, he finds himself obsessed with the little shop girl in the run-down house. He can’t stand to see her hurt and offers to help with the situation. Of course he doesn’t mention that HE is the landlord that she is having issue with. He follows her to the farmers market and discovers her other more flavorable talents. He recognizes this to be her ticket out of financial woes and his ticket out of guilt.

There are things that Jared did that I had completely contributed to another sibling. Maybe I heard wrong in the past 3 stories, maybe I didn’t. All I know is that those things alone could redeem him, but it doesn’t stop there. Deep down he is a family man at heart who truly loves his siblings and would do anything for them. He brings that truth and loyalty to the table which makes him worthy of his HEA.

Lots of side character action to get excited about if you have been reading or listening in order. Dante and Sarah have their wedding which Mara gets to participate in. Future heros and heroines are introduce. Beatrice is up to her match-making ways for she is determined to have the whole Sinclair clan hitched by Christmas. This series just keeps getting better!

J.S. Scott has made a family to fall in love with. I look foward to listening to Evan’s story!

♥ Story ♥

This is about Rose who is referenced as being a General Practitioner Doctor but also as birthing hundreds of babies, so it is not quite clear as to what her specialty is. She works at a hospital in Portland, so its not as if she is a small town doc that ends up doing everything. And can I mention crazy for wearing Prada heels to work. Seriously! In reading the blurb, I was a bit disappointed in her attitude for being one of the Chase siblings. After listening to this book, however, it is not quite as it seems.

Rose ❤ Matt

Dr. Rose Chance is a very busy women, who doesn’t have room for love and dating in her life. She also has some chips on her shoulder to overcome. I give her credit for being proactive and productive in her life despite her self-delusions. She is attracted to the hot Greek Surgeon at work, but can’t seem to let go of her princess ideals. There are events that will force her to face things in a new light.

Dr. Mattius Vasilopolous also comes from a large close-knit family and is also too busy to even remember what day it is sometimes, or if he ate lunch. Matt and Rose have a lot in common and make for a great couple, and she makes him contemplate love at first site. I feel for the guy because it’s going to be an uphill climb to get over her castle walls.

Every Rose turned out better than the blurb lets on, which was great. There is nothing wrong with wishing for a fairy-tale, but one needs to be open to reality. There is a famous quote about life and plans for a reason. Some of the secondary characters are going to show up again if you take the time to read the blurbs of future books. I’m looking forward to them all!

Nancy Warren’s creativity continues to amaze. Once again she brings a unique medical sitution. It is a bit cringe worthy, the way a man holds his crotch when he sees another get hit in his, but it is definately one I have never heard of before.

Mmm Man Hands Indeed!

This is the first so could be read on its own, but the characters are all involved in each others lives and stories so I HIGHLY suggest reading them in order to get the best experience.

Man Hands is quite literally about hands that are manly, YUM, but also about so much more! All the characters in this book come in play, with two getting their own book. I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be more on that front so make sure to pay attention, because you may be revisiting that person later. I wouldn’t even mind seeing Chandra get her own story, despite how much you initially loath her.

Brynn ❤ Tom

Brynn is a food blogger and newly divorced. She is currently unemployed and feeling sorry for herself despite wanting the divorce. The guy really wasn’t a great husband and if it were not for her ex’s actions later in the story, I would of thought he was just using her as a beard. Her two friends are determined to get her out of her gutter by taking her to a party. … Let me rephrase that. … Her one friend, Sadie, is kind and wants her to get back into the dating game and find love. Her more abrasive friend, Ash, wants her to find Mr. Right Now for a hot and dirty ride. Combine this with Tiki drinks and the need to do something impulsive, and you get the night of her life that sets this whole thing into motion. And don’t worry if Ash gets on your nerves for being a big B, cause she is going to get her’s in the next book, and its going to be oh so good!

Tom Spanner is a TV personality focusing on home renovations. He does a lot of the work on screen with his Yummy Man Hands and the girls go wild! While his show is on hiatus, his friend Braht talks him into throwing a party at his house were the sexiest woman he has ever seen jumps him and gives him the sexiest experience he has ever had in his life.

…. And yes Braht is what he wants to be called, and yes, it is pronounced just like the sausage, and yes we will see him again in the book #2 and maybe find out what his real name is! ….

A pair of chocolate bunny panties is his glass slipper and the hunt is on for his dream woman. Once he finds her, the lines get skewed while he is trying to lay claim to her. It makes for laugh out loud good times!

Man Hands has a lot of tongue and cheek humor, mixed with steamy goodness, which lands this book on my Favorites list! Brynn’s blogging reminds me of Delicious Dish from SNL. For those that have never heard of the bit, please see the clip below.

The end is not quite a cliffhanger, but its a little bit for me as in that I have to wait till book #02 to hear the deets on the pantry incident. Those two are going to be a panty melting hot mess and it is going to be good! I can’t wait!

Luke Daniels and Erin Mallon both narrate this story on an alternating chapter basis. You get 2 versions of every character when its done this way. They both did a great job and it would be hard to pick a favorite among the two performances. I would of loved to of had this be a true Duet, but that’s just me.
