Action And Steam, With A Whole New Series.

The action was good and the story was steamy. It was a great start to a new Science Fiction Romance series. It’s not listed as an erotic series, but might as well be, given what the stories are mostly about at their core. Each book focuses on one of the crew taking a mate. And they all give a “Contains mature themes” warning.

Cathian’s needs are a bit intense and as he is the only one of his species on board the ship, it makes for a rather unique situation. He is the captain of an ambassador ship that affords him certain privileges, however he runs it with ❤, for his crew is the family he has chosen rather than of blood. There is a lot of smexy times to be had, but it is surrounded by lots of action, witty banter, and cleverness.

So excited to get to listen to Laurann Dohner’s work.

Narration was great. Callie did well with both genders and the various species of aliens.

Overall I am very excited for this new series and can’t wait to binge the rest of it!

Review: Surrender Sweet Succubus

A Lot of Heart to Go with the Steam.

Surrender Sweet Succubus is a standalone, by Jewel Quinlan.

P.J. Ochlan narrates.

HEA, NO cheating, NO cliffhangers!

Quite a touching little story for a short erotic title.

Stephen is a doctor with some bonus gifts. He is a shaman and according to him, has seem some sh*t. His brother and sister-n-law are desperate for a baby and are hoping there may be some “other” way of help. Stephen goes in search of a Succubus that has the “magic touch” he is looking for and gets far more than he ever thought he needed. It’s only a couple hours long, but still had a good bit of character and world building that made it seem much longer. An epilogue of their future would of been nice, but that’s just my romantic heart talking. 😊

Jewel Quinlan is new to me but not for long. I really liked this story and plan to check out her other Audible Escape titles.

P.J. Ochlan is not completely new to me, but I have only heard him once before. Just as the time before, he didn’t disappoint. Very few characters, but each had an unique voice which was a delight to my ears. The accents were varied and sounded authentic.

Quickies‎: Savage Bond

Action and steam, but I wish I had more.

The action was good and the story was steamy.

It was nice to see another fallen find their mate.

The story did stray from the initial “rules” established in the last 2 books without explanation or acknowledgment. Maybe their was a possible exception for it, but as it stands, it almost invalidates the previous cannon.

It’s still enjoyable, but I wish I had more.

This novella also lost P.J.’s hot gruffy man voice from the last one as Kellie from the 1st is narrating this time. She isn’t bad, I just really wanted to hear P.J. do it.

Overall I would still recommend this especially seeing how this most likely is the last one we will get.

I’m sad, because this was a fresh idea that I would of liked to see continue.

Quickies: His Dark Bond

On the edge of my seat!

The world building is expanded, and more info is learned.

This time it is the fallen that doth protest too much.

Not that the scientist heroine is much better. She is almost too logical for her own good.

There are some crazy OMG moments, especially Zer’s action. Never saw that one coming! Its too good to spoil, but you will know what it is when it happens, trust me.

Michael’s reasoning was sound, but I still feel like he could of done “something” to help replenish things! Again, you will get what I’m saying once you get there. 😉

I like the male narrator. His voice really adds that gruff and growl that makes the fallen sound so sexy. This did not detract from the female voices as they are completely believable tones.

Cant wait to see what happens in the next one.

Sexy and Interesting!

Great new concept.

I like the secondary couple more than the main one though.

Mischka doth protest too much!

The killer of the story was super creepy.

I will be listening to the next in the series to see what happens next.
