♥ Story ♥

This is the love story of Emma, Will, and Paul.

Emma was left at the alter by Mark, who is Will’s younger brother. Ever since Mark first brought Emma home to meet his family, Will has had a crush on her. Currently being in a committed relationship, hasn’t stopped the fantasies either. Oh, and did I mention that Will is Emma’s boss?
Totally not complicated at all, Right?

Paul is Will’s boyfriend. And they live together. And Paul loves Will deeply. And Will loves him deeply in return. Have you caught on yet to the massive guilt trip building in Will’s mind?

Emma has also had an attraction to Will since their first meeting, which grew into fantasies of her own after Mark left her. She is completely envious of Paul and Will’s relationship, and secretly dreams of being the cream in their Oreo cookie!

Paul is not stupid and can see the slow burn between Will and Emma, even though the two of them seem to be oblivious about it. Paul enjoys the pleasure of both sexes, contrary to popular town belief, and sees the potential that Emma represents.

So they all three like each other and want to have sex with each other, but all three are too afraid to broach the subject with the other in fear of crossing an unwelcomed bridge that would ruin their friendship.

How adorably awkward is that?!

“You know,” he said, smiling at her and leaning back against the door, “I’m really starting to think you’re crashing that box on purpose, just so you can come over here and flirt with me.” – Paul

Paul is Emma’s go-to person for when her old laptop breaks, which is apparently often. Since he is in the middle of a project, he asks to keep it overnight so he can work on it once finished. She is nervous about leaving it overnight, but leaves it anyway as she can’t afford to take it elsewhere. This piques Paul’s interest to find out what she is hiding. Imagine Paul’s surprise when he finds out what that is! And it’s good too!

From there it just gets even HOTTER!

This is a VERY hot and steamy story with lots of scenes to melt your clothes off.

If you like your love stories with lots of sultry sex, then this is the one for you.

Emma, Will, and Paul will steal your heart and your lust!

Emma ❤ Will ❤ Paul

♥ Author ♥

This is my first read/listen by Amanda Young and it is definitely a good one. I do plan to listen to more! Going by her website, she specializes in M/M and ménages. She even has 2 separate ARC teams for them. You can find all the details on her website.

Amanda has 03 titles listed on Audible, but lots of ebooks if you want more but can’t wait for audio.

♥ Narrator(s) ♥

Beth Roeg performed a threesome with her mouth. Wait, that sounds really dirty, lol. Something More has lusty scenes with 2 men and 1 women and Beth pulled it off very well. It was easy to get lost in the smexy details, no matter who was talking, which says a lot about the narrator in my opinion. It definitely makes me want to listen to more!

Beth has 36 titles listed on Audible, and I definitely want to get some of the shifter ones, cause I love me a hot sexy shifter story!

Review: Christmas Lovers (Kidnap Fantasies #2) By Jan Springer

My ReviewsSexy Christmas Fantasies For A Wounded Soldier!

This is #2 of 3 in the Kidnap Fantasies Series.
Currently only #1 & #2 are in audio.

HEA with no cliffhanger!

Warning: SEX!
Lots of references to sex, M/F, M/M, M/M/F, M/F/M, so those opposed should avoid.

Length: 1 hr and 33 mins

Consent was given for all of the fantasies, so don’t fret! Kidnap Fantasies is actually the name of a private company that arranges many different types of scenarios for its high end customers.

No matter what your perceived thoughts might be, this is actually a hot and steamy series with characters you can’t get enough of.

♥ Story ♥

As mentioned before, Kidnap Fantasies Inc., is essentially an escort service. They provide brochures of the services you can pick from, and then you fill out a questionnaire with all the preferred details. From there, the company takes over and before you know it, your deepest desires are being fulfilled.

We open with a prologue and our Hero, Sgt. Connor Jordan. He’s in a military hospital in Maryland being treated for wounds received overseas during an explosion. He takes to his nurse hard and fast!

Yes, pun intended!

Connor nicknames her Florence, for the infamous Syndrome of the same name, because he couldn’t stop himself from falling in love with her. The attentive sponge baths really aren’t helping his situation either.

Nurse Tania Sparks is the true name of Connor’s Nightingale. She grows quite fond of her soldier in return, but denies herself further pursuits. Putting the moves on her patient is unprofessional in her eyes. Tania regrets that decision, but has no way of contacting Connor now that he has been discharged from the hospital.

Connor’s brothers buy him a Kidnap Fantasy for Christmas in hopes of lifting his spirits after the hell he has lived through. The questionnaire ends up being mostly about his biggest desire, Nurse Sparks. Connor doesn’t think he can have the real thing, so he wants to spend his holidays with as close as he can get.

From there it just gets HOTTER!

Both the hero and the heroine get exactly what they want for Christmas despite being oh so naughty!

And I loved every minute of it.

F. Y. I.

You will see their +1, Santana, again!
He is the hero of Kidnap Fantasies #3.
It is not out in audio yet, but the e-book is available now.

High-Five to all the veterans that are reading this right now!

Being a veteran myself, I like to see them in stories getting a HEA!

♥ Author ♥

This is my second read/listen by Jan Springer and I don’t see me stopping anytime soon. This one is hotter than the last because there is a +1. Even though its shorter, she still gives us a great story and characters.
Jan has 09 titles listed on Audible.

♥ Narrator(s) ♥

This is my first listen by Neha DeLancie and it was very smexy!
I feel like her narration could use some polish, but her voices, both male and female were excellent.
Neha has 02 titles listed on Audible.

Review: Soul Songs (Bad Boy #2) by Simone Carter

My Reviews“Because I heard your soul singing to mine.”

Soul Songs is #2 in the Bad Boy Series, I have not listened to #1 Hawk’s Call, but have been assured by the author that the only connection among the titles in the series is that they all contain “Bad Boys”.

HEA with no cliffhanger!

♥ Story ♥

This story will definitely pull at your heart strings!

Marty Donahue is a traveling artist famous for her murals. Her mode of transportation is her RV dubbed “Big Red” and a one-eyed old cat named Gruff is her co-pilot. She tries to avoid musicians and their lifestyles because of her bad experience with her washed up drunk of father. Who was, you guessed it, a rocker.

🐾 ~ Gruff ~ 🐾

“Well, Gruff is not just your ordinary cat, but once he decides to be your friend, he’s your friend for life.”
– Marty

Marty makes an exception for Jake Stryker, bad boy of country music, because her heart hurts for the children that have been left in his care. Jake took responsibility of his sister’s 4 year old twins after her death at the hands of her husband, in front of those said children.

Jake is, of course, drawn to Marty the moment he sees her. He compares her looks to a young Ann-Margret. For those of you who may have seen Viva Las Vegas with Elvis, she is the main chick. For those that have no idea who Elvis is, I have included a picture and a link.

Ann-Margret in Viva Las Vegas [from IMDB]Ann-Margret in Viva Las Vegas [from IMDB]

Martys backstory involves a very descriptive scene of her rape in chapter 05.

The scene is played out in Marty’s head for the reader, and no one else. After that one chapter, it is abandoned as an afterthought, but as a reader I was left feeling dirty and uncomfortable. I kept waiting for it to have relevance sometime later in the story, but nothing else ever came of it. I feel that  an attempted rape would have been a more effective of an explanation for why she had a gun and why the one interaction disturbed her without potentially scarring the reader.

👫 ~ The Twins ~ 👫

“Ah, dumpling, you don’t understand. When a man and a woman get married they should love each other. They should know how to make each other happy, make each other’s souls sing.”

– Marty

The twins will make you want to crawl into the book and hug and rock them in comfort. The request for cops in the mural made me want to cry. Good thing Jake has money because those poor babies are going to need some therapy to go along with their hugs and love.

This was a heartfelt story of 2 people wounded by life looking for the one to make their soul sing.

♥ Author ♥

This is my first read/listen by Simone Carter. The characters are interesting and engaging. I could listen to this story again, but just skip chapter 5. I would definitely listen to other works by this author.
Simone has 16 titles to her name listed on Audible.

♥ Narrator(s) ♥

Lissa Blackwell performance was very pleasing to listen to. The narration parts were easy to listen to and the voices for the females and the children were great. Jake’s voice could use some polish. It was great when he was on his own but when thrown in the mix with others talking on and off, he got lost and sounded just like Marty. I would listen to more works performed by this narrator.
Lissa has 19 titles to her name listed on Audible.

Non-Fiction Read: Success and Luck by John S. Lawson

My ReviewsGreat introduction to habits.

This is a Non-Fiction title.

Length: 1 hr and 9 mins

It’s a great introduction to habits, and suggestions on how to break them.

♥ Story ♥

This title is more of an introduction than it is a full length in-depth instructions. Its short and to the point with little fluff, so worth it if you want the basics.

I give it props for pointing out the difference between what is a habit and what might be a more complex condition that one might need to seek professional help for.

♥ Author ♥

John S. Lawson is new to the market, with only a handful of titles to his name and all of which published this year. This title was a good collection of information so I would be interested in his other titles.
John has 03 titles listed on Audible.

♥ Narrator(s) ♥

Harry Roger Williams III does excellent narration for this Non-Fiction title. He speak very clearly and with authority of subject. I would of thought him the writer.
Harry has 59 titles listed on Audible. All of which are Non-Fiction.

Review: Something Wicked by Teresa Mummert

My ReviewsDrake Gibson has a filthy, filthy mouth, and I like it!

This is a standalone title by Teresa Mummert, however there has been some outcry for more, even if it’s just a follow-up novella. There is no word out if this will become a reality or not. I am in the more camp, so my finger and toes will stay crossed in the meantime.

HEA with no cliffhanger!

Warning: SEX!
There is lots of references to sex, in the oh so good way, so those opposed should avoid.

Length: 5 hrs and 22 mins

♥ Story ♥

A potty mouth leads to true love.
That’s Awesome!

Gabriella “Gabby” Sloan wants to be a romance writer but instead works at a magazine doing celebrity pieces, which she hates. She is dating Tyler, who she doesn’t really hate, but she isn’t really happy either. Tyler puts his career first, going as far as to forget their anniversary.

Drake Gibson is a Hollywood movie star at the top of his game. He is currently in a hate-hate relationship with his co-star Julia, who is over demanding and full of drama. Drake’s career is all about the money, and being able to support the little family he has left, and none about happiness. It is starting to wear him thin.

Both of our main characters have a fated encounter at the premiere of Drake’s new movie. Gabby’s day is going all kinds of wrong, and she didn’t want to be there, but got stuck doing it. Being rudely dismissed causes her to break and let out the first thing that comes to her mind.

“I’m guessing it is because you are both assholes.”
– Gabby

Gabby is mortified, but Drake is intrigued. A party and a forgotten email attachment, leads to smexy fun!

Of course it’s not going to be that easy. There are disgruntle, stubborn exes that refuse to take a hint, no matter how clear it is made. Betrayals are rampant, with one being somewhat unexpected. I read a lot of romance so certain plots are not shocking, but there is one particular betrayal that I didn’t see it going THAT way.

I do agree with other reviewers that it ends too abruptly. It could of used a little more after. Lots of fans would like to see a sequel, and if not, a novella. Something to truly wrap-up the story. There was a lot of things that happen in the book, that we are left still wanting to know the outcome. I am one of those people.

This is a good listen that I feel like I can’t really tell you too much without spoiling something.

I want to do a Read Along With Me for this title so its going on that list.

Teaser images are from Teresa Mummert’s Twitter Page.

♥ Author ♥

This is my first read/listen by Teresa Mummert and it was HOT!

She does dirty good!

I was turned-on, surprised, as well as appalled by her characters, which is a great combo for romantic fiction.

I would definitely listen to more titles.
Teresa has 16 titles listed on Audible.

♥ Narrator(s) ♥

Something Wicked has dual POV. Both Logan McAllister and Lacy Laurel narrate this story.

I like having a man do the voice for the alpha males, because dirty talk is so much more sexier when a guy does it. (My personal opinion)

Logan McAllister makes dirty sound HOT! I thoroughly enjoyed listening to him. Logan has 55 titles listed on Audible, most of which are already in my wish list, cause, Damn he sounds good.

Lacy Laurel gives a good performance as Gabby, with the emotions and despair really coming through in her delivery. Lacy has 54 titles listed on Audible, and a lot of them look Smexy and sooo going on my wish list.

I did feel that there was a bit of a disconnect with Drake’s character. His voice is done by both voice actors, so there are 2 different “Drakes”. I’m not saying that either one of them were bad, it’s just weird at the switch. In an ideal world, the characters would be cast like an animated movie, where the same person does the voice of X every time.
